An EPC is a certificate that shows how energy efficient a building is, the document includes estimated energy costs, as well as a summary of your building energy performance related features.
EPC’s were introduced in 2007 and are a legal requirement for a building to be sold, let or constructed. The building is given a rating between A & G, A being most efficient. The EPC will also include recommendations for the most effective ways to improve the buildings energy rating.
